NewReg Offers Success on a Plate for a Winning Preston North End Player
Outgoing shirt sponsor New Reg has offered a free personal number plate to any Preston North End player responsible for winning the club promotion to the Premiership.
The winning player will be the one that that scores a winning goal – or in the case of a goal keeper perhaps saves the key penalty in a shoot out - at the Coca Cola Championship Play off final at Cardiff this Bank Holiday Monday
The winning plates on offer feature the letters CA05 (Cardiff 2005) followed by the player’s initials. So if Youl Alidour Mawene scored a winner for the Lilywhites he’d receive a ‘CA05 YAM’ plate from NewReg for his troubles.
New Reg marketing manager Markerle Davis said,
“We’re under no illusions that there is a much bigger prize up for grabs for Preston North End this weekend. But a personal car number plate is something which could stay with the player for life. It would be gesture from New Reg to remind the player of one of the biggest games of their career.”

With plates like P13 PNE and S12 WHU listed as available for as little as £245, the offer means that car-owning fans of both clubs could end up with the ultimate Championship Play Off Final memento from as little as £201.
