Over the years many combinations have been banned, here are a few:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nCombinations consisting of 4 letters:<\/strong><br \/>\n*B** UMS, *G** ODS and *R** APE<\/p>\n<p><strong> Combinations consisting of 5 letters:<\/strong><br \/>\nAB** USE, AN** GER and BO** SOM<\/p>\n<p><strong> Combinations from 2004:<\/strong><br \/>\nA**4 RSE, BO04 ZZY and BL04 JOB<\/p>\n<p><strong> Combinations from 2011:<\/strong><br \/>\nBO11 OC*, DR11 GG* and PO11 CE*<\/p>\n<p>Prior to releases (twice a year) the DVLA meet to decide which registrations will be banned due to spelling out rude and crude combinations. Among those banned this year are \u2018BO18 CKS\u2019 and \u2018PU18 BES\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-283\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newreg.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/brabus.jpg\" alt=\"number plate on the back of a car that spells BRABUS\" width=\"600\" height=\"273\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may be able to out-smart the DVLA and create your own crude but once it\u2019s spotted it could still be taken from you.
