West Midlands Car Owners Make it Personal with a New Reg
West Midlands car owners are more likely to choose a personal number plate for their car than any other UK car owner according to the latest figures revealed by leading personal number plate company New Reg.

The figures have been announced to celebrate the release of new number plates at a new low price of just £244 as New Reg marketing manager Markerle Davis reveals,
“We’re please that personal number plates are a national phenomenon. We receive orders from throughout the UK. With the launch of our new £244 selection we hope that the benefits of owning personal car number plate will be accessible to even more UK motorists.”
New Reg has also revealed that men are twice as likely to purchase car number plates as women with a Male 66% Female 34% although the number of women buying has increased by more than 20% in the last year. The majority of number plate purchasers are in their 30’s.
The figures are complied from sales figures ending 2004 and exclude customers from New Reg’s home county of Lancashire to give a realistic national perspective.
The www.newreg.co.uk website features a searchable database of more than 19 million number plates in total. Users can also browse by category or keyword and you could always unearth a bargain as Markerle concludes,
“Generally, the fewer the letters the more valuable the registration. However the value of each plate to the customer ultimately depends on the individual - which means there are always bargains to be had.
