Investment number plates: important information

We call a registration an investment number plate because it has risen in value since it was first sold. That describes its past. It is not a forecast of what it will be worth.

New Reg does not give investment or financial advice. Nothing on this website is a personal recommendation to buy, keep or sell a registration.

The value of a registration can fall as well as rise. Past increases are not a reliable guide to future value, and you may get back less than you paid.

Registrations are not regulated investments and are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. New Reg is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (No. 626225) as a credit broker; that authorisation does not cover investments or investment advice.

A registration can take time to sell, and selling costs reduce what you receive.

If you are buying mainly as an investment, take independent financial advice first.
