New Reg Launches UK's First Car Number Plate Search By Mobile Phone
UK cherished car number plate supplier New Reg has launched a new text service called ‘regtxt’ which allows potential customers to receive details of their ideal registration plate directly to a mobile phone.
The text service sources information from the same database as the website which features 40 million different numbers available from as little as £99. New Reg Marketing Manager Markerle Davis said,

“Inspiration can strike any time! So if customers think of an ideal New Reg when they're away from a computer, or when it's inconvenient to call us, then Regtxt means they’ll be able to get all the information they need within minutes.”
To access the service customers can text the letters ‘REG’ plus the registration mark or initials they are searching for to 81025. In return they’ll receive prime examples of their possible New Reg within minutes for a cost of just 25p.
The regtxt service has also been integrated with the extensive search facility on the New Reg website. Website visitors can search for their perfect car registration number before selecting the 'Regtxt' option next to the appropriate to your chosen registration.
All searches - via the website or mobile phone - are backed up by a team of fully-trained New Reg staff who can also investigate the status of the registration and send the results directly to your mobile phone.
