Plate Details

RS06 PUB is a current-style registration issued in March 2006. Current style plates use a two-letter area code, a two-digit year code (06), and a three-letter random sequence. The 06 area code identifies it as originating from the Reading DVLA office, covering South East England. Under DVLA rules, this plate can be assigned to any vehicle first registered on or after March 2006 — it cannot make a vehicle appear newer than it actually is.

Investment & Value

RS06 PUB is a current-style registration. While the current format is still issued, specific combinations with strong personal associations — particularly short, meaningful initials — command significant premiums on the secondary market. Personalised number plates are a tangible, portable asset. Unlike most purchases, a desirable plate retains and can appreciate in value over time. NewReg has been trading since 1989 and can advise on valuation — call 01772 566400.

• Is RS06 PUB a good investment? +
Personalised number plates have a strong track record as alternative investments. RS06 PUB is a Current style registration — plates at this price point reflect genuine collector demand and limited availability. Unlike most assets, a personalised plate can be displayed and used daily while being held as an investment. NewReg has operated since 1989 and has seen strong long-term appreciation across quality registrations. Plates are not a guaranteed investment — values depend on demand, plate format, and letter combination.
